Lithium batteries have high energy density, long use time, and meet green environmental protection regulations. They have gradually replaced nickel-cadmium batteries and nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries and become the preferred rechargeable batteries for portable devices.


When the lithium battery is overcharged, the energy will be excessive when the battery temperature rises, and the electrolyte will decompose to generate gas, which will increase the internal pressure of the battery and threaten the safety. Conversely, in the case of over-discharge, the decomposition of the electrolyte leads to deterioration of battery characteristics and durability, resulting in reduced battery life.

Normal work: Monitor within normal current and voltage, and the battery is in normal use.

Overcharge protection: When the battery voltage rises to a certain threshold, the chip will turn off the internal switch, disconnect the battery and the charger, and protect the battery.

Under-voltage protection: When the battery voltage drops to a certain threshold, the chip will turn off the internal switch, disconnect the battery and the load, and protect the battery.

Over-discharge protection: When the discharge current of the battery increases to a certain threshold, the circuit is disconnected.

Overcurrent protection: When the charging current of the battery increases to a certain threshold, the circuit is disconnected.

Short circuit protection: When the load short circuit causes the battery current to increase sharply, the circuit is disconnected.
